Welcome to Charmed Birmans!
Hi my name is Debbie, welcome to my website Charmed Birmans. I first fell in love with these beautiful cats over 15 years ago in New Zealand. When my family and I moved over to Australia in December 2003 the first thing on my list was to buy the cat I always dreamed of having. I bought 2 beautiful boys - Sebastian, a seal point and Sylvesta, a blue point. I was deeply in love with my precious boys and they gave me a lot of joy. I spoke to the breeder I got these lovely boys from and she said that my passion for this breed was so great that I should breed them myself. And that is exactly what I did.
My first girl was a chocolate point, then a blue point. I have had lots of lovely litters over the years and all kittens are raised in my home with lots of tlc. I usually have one or two litters a year so that I can spend quality time with my litters teaching them the important value of interacting with people. I must admitt I do find it hard when they go to their new homes because you do become attached to their lovely little personalities. But my reason for breeding is to protect the breed and to give other people the opportunity to share their life with this amazing cat.
